Applying fitness at -8f with french toast

I can’t say I was extremely excited about getting outside in -8f weather but I am so glad I did. I was not cold at all, if anything I think I overdressed up top. The electric gloves and socks are epically game changing. It got a bit introspective on the ride. It was so gorgeous along the bluffs of the Mississippi River. The cold temps created an ethereal mist over the moving waters. I got to thinking how this joy I was feeling, these special moments in the woods were a return on the investment I made in myself in the past year.

I fueled up on coffee and my fave Banana French Toast before the ride. One of the things I anchor to is loving the food I eat. I anchor to “85% as tasty but 50% less cals” when I develop recipes. I would added the recipe for the French toast at the bottom of this post.

and the French Toast video :)

EB’s Banana French Toast
3 servings Egg Beaters (or any egg substitute)

2 packets Splenda

Cinnamon and/or nutmeg to taste

40g sliced banana

4 slices Light or Keto bread (any bread will work but I like keeping it to under 35 cals a slice and the keto bread has good fiber and protien)

4 tablespoons sugar free syrup (seriously the Great Value brand is the best I have tried!)

5 sprays of I Can’t Believe its not Butter (truth, I know its not butter but I buy into the fantasy)

I like to blend half of the banana into the dip and heat the other half with the syrup. ~279 cals for that whole thing vs 792 if you made it traditionally.
