Electric socks & COFFEE STOPS

Finishing stronger in the snow!

I put in almost 28 miles on the Wobegon Trail this morning. Snow stayed pretty steady and by the time I turned around, my tracks were gone! Needless to say, plowing through 2 inches of fresh snow (and a headwind) slowed time down on the way back. My legs are really feeling the extra effort! I am really loving having coffee on demand in my HydroCell bottle. Its nice to be able to just pull over and get a few sips of caffeinated motivation. It stayed hot right to the last drop (over 2 hours into the ride in 20 degree temps). I truly appreciate these moments of “applied fitness”. Without the time and effort I have invested in the last year, rides like this would not be this possible, let alone enjoyable! I believe this mindset, the motivation to maintain my fitness to continue doing the things I enjoy, is one of the key factors in maintaining wellness.
